Times have certainly changed since the days of going door to door pitching your wares to the neighborhood. Now with the Internet we are basically a click away from anything we want. Many marketers have such an insatiable appetite for success, but never DECIDE to harness to power of the Internet. Simply boggles the mind doesn’t it?

First of all in order to generate leads online you MUST drive traffic to your website, and lots of it. The quickest and BEST way to do this is by using the top 10 websites with the highest traffic volume to accomplish your goal of “lots of traffic”. To get the latest and greatest visit www.alexa.com and click on “Top Sites”. I’m sure you would agree that it’s much easier to tap into already existing traffic than it would be to try and become one of the “Top 10″ websites yourself. Most of these websites offer sponsored advertising like PPC (pay-per-click) and Banner Ads that can EASILY get you in front of the masses.

Now you know WHERE to get this elusive traffic that everyone is raving about, but what do you do next?

I recommend following this formula… “Nothing happens UNTIL an ad is placed.”

1- Place an ad – You should offer something of value to people that are reading your ad. (That’s right folks learn the art of placing these tiny little ads is most important skill you could master.)
2- Direct these ad prospects to a squeeze page where they can optin via email and/or phone to receive your FREE offer. (This is your New Lead.) SWEET!
3- Tweak and refine or rinse and repeat. (This NOT the set it and forget it game, pay close attention to your results then make adjustments accordingly.)

It is important to look at your campaign numbers on a daily basis. It’s not rocket science so keep things simple… If you are not receiving any clicks on your ad, you might want to change your wording a bit so MORE people will click on it. If you are getting lots of ad clicks but no one opting in to your squeeze page, you probably should be tweaking your squeeze page and/or offer so that it is MORE enticing for prospects to fill in their info.

Today we are going to get into building your mlm leads list, and even more importantly cashing in by converting your mlm leads list into a frenzy of buying consumers.

Step 2: Create an email autoresponder campaign (5-10 auto-emails) that creates a sense of urgency along with a call to action that asks them to DO something. (I recommend that you ask them to call you right away or reply back to the email, don’t JUST link them back to your website.)

Step 3: Create a viral buzz for your new squeeze page, MASSIVE TRAFFIC SOLVES MOST PROBLEMS. (Use social media, search engine optimization, pay per click, and free offerings to drive MASSIVE amounts of traffic to your website.)

Step 4: Review your results, if they’re not what you expected then you need to tweak your marketing funnel. (Fail your way to success just like the rest of us, tweak and test, tweak and test…)

Just remember, no matter where you are on your journey there is always room for improve. However, with that being said… Once a ratio appears it tends to continue. If you have a steady constant flow of traffic that converts to leads that converts to sales, You might want to leave your marketing funnel alone and let it ride.

Now if you are receiving lots of leads and no sales, you might want to look at your email campaign. (Remember that a HUGE part of success if pursuing through the failures.)
